Howell Man Exposed Himself To 5yr Old Girl

Howell man who allegedly exposed himself to a 5-year-old girl at a Genoa Township store returns to 53rd District Court on Aug. 9 for a pretrial exam conference.Troy Wayne Creekmore is charged with indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person and a parole violation.


Creekmore, who is being held on a $100,000 bond, is a registered sex offender. His prior criminal history includes a 1996 conviction for second-degree criminal sexual conduct and a 2003 conviction for possession of a weapon by a prisoner.


Michigan State Police said the girl’s mother reported July 25 that she was shopping around 12:25 p.m. at the Meijer store on Grand River Avenue when she asked one of her children to place something back on a shelf.


The woman told police that although the mother had been watching Creekmore, he took advantage of a moment when the mom wasn’t looking to expose himself to the 5-year-old child. The mother then reported it to police and using the description the girl used and information Creekmore provided when he checked out he was identified and arrested.
